Growing up as a Graham, Accepting Your Calling and Leaving a Powerful Legacy – with Franklin Graham
What do you want your legacy to be? For the past five years, I’ve shared about what it means to live fearlessly for your faith in a world that wants to destroy Biblical values. I’ve been able to do this because of the godly legacy that my grandparents and parents have passed down - that God is faithful to those who never compromise the Gospel.
Today, my dad, Franklin Graham, is joining me to answer questions I’ve never asked him before about his life, what he wants his legacy to be, his relationship with his parents, and how God changed his life 50 years ago in Israel.
Thank you for being a part of the #FearlessPodcast whether this is your first episode or you’ve been along for this journey for the last five years. I hope we can continue the conversations we have, helping you have a fearless faith in a compromising culture.

Pride Month: How to Love Without Compromising? (Ep. 125)
Переглядів 6 тис.21 день тому
Chaos and confusion are all around us. June is a month filled with rainbows and Pride parades and messages that “love is love.” We live in a time when we see a growing hatred towards Christians and a biblical worldview. These attacks and confusion are especially strong during “Pride Month.” The Bible tells us that “Pride goes before destruction…”(Proverbs 16:18). So how do we make sure that we ...
Mormonism vs. Christianity: Do You Know the Difference? (Ep. 124)

Do you know who are you following on social media? There's a growing trend of Mormon influencers on many platforms - especially Instagram. Their family values, conservative dress and love for family is inspiring. Many people might actually think the Church of Latter Day Saints is a different denomination of Christianity because they believe in Jesus. But sometimes we see people that seem to hav...
Pastor Greg Laurie: Antisemitism on College Campuses, Israel & End Times (Ep. 123)

Antisemitism is on the rise. Seeing protests on university campuses across the U.S. and growing violence against Jewish people around the world is not only shocking, but it’s a reminder that God’s people will be persecuted because of our allegiance to Him (Matthew 10). It has been just over seven decades since the Holocaust, and the growing Jewish-hate is eerily similar to what happened leading...
The Lies of I’s-Seeking Godly Wisdom instead of Selfish Ambition (Ep. 122)

We live in a society that tells us that selfishness and self-centeredness are okay so that we can be happy, successful, and feel important. But, the world is full of foolish, evil, and demonic wisdom. We need to be cautious of what we are looking to and where we are looking for truth and guidance. This all goes back to knowing what you believe and why you believe it. We will never be enough and...
The Lies of I’s-When “I Want” Becomes “I Need” (Ep. 121)

How often do you find yourself saying, “I need;” confusing a want or desire with something that really is not essential? We live in a world that’s both consumed and fed by the social media algorithm showing all the beautiful things others have and places they go. It makes us think: I need new shoes. I need caffeine. I need to make more money. So, what happens when we don’t find contentment in w...

“I Am Enough.” This “Lies of I’s” is one that we see everywhere-on t-shirts, coffee cups, and it’s even the title of a children’s book. It’s meant as an encouragement; especially in this world of comparison. But what really happens when we follow this advice and rely solely on ourselves? And, how can we teach our children to find strength through faith instead of how the world defines? Listen t...

Joseph Smith did not practice polygamy. That was a lie started by Brigham Young so he could take control of the church and have his way with as many women as he wanted.. And he uaed the people to get wealth and power. Not Joseph.

The current LDS church are moving forward to becoming an evangelical Christian church. They deny so much of their history now so as to gather more people in to their church. (I was a devout member for 64 of my 67 years.I’m now learning to be a true Christian. )

Thank you for this message filled with scripture. We all have a story to tell. All I can say is I have never seen anything good come out of alcohol. It has been painful in my family, the Lord has healed those issues dating back to my grandfather, who was saved at a revival years ago in the 1950s at our church. I praise God it kept my own father who was saved at your grandfathers crusade in his teens, from drinking or having it in our home growing up. Please pray for my grown children (all christians), sisters and their children who all socially drink and sometimes heavily. I have lived with my alcoholic husband for 42 years, with his health causing him to stop the last two years. I know in my heart that God had heard my prayers over the years and has freed him. I still pray all the time that he will find the grace of Christ our savior to give him the peace and joy only Christ can give in this crazy world. Thank you for your prayers!

Very well said. My dad used to drink when I was a child and my parents had a lot of arguments because he drank. One of my uncles died from drinking so much. I've seen the ugly consequences of drinking. Until today I still freeze when I hear people yelling at each other arguing. I came to the Lord in my late teens and I am more like your husband, very black and white when it comes to this topic. My husband grew up in a Christian home and there was no drinking in his immediate family. So neither one of drinks. When we got married he told me I never had to worry about alcohol or drinking in our home. I never have to worry about him ever coming home drunk or even with the ugly smell of alcohol or bear in his breath or with glassy eyes, or a red face. I am so grateful for that gift of peace he gives me. I appreciate how lovingly, without judgement, and backed up by scripture you presented your point. Thank you

I really enjoyed this message. I'm 82 years old, male Christian, graduated from high school at an orphanage (accepted Christ at age 15). I knew a couple of gay guys when I attended Baylor 1960-65 and I remember how they kept it very quiet. Then later, the gay group just wanted to be accepted.... and since acceptance, then they turned more militant in their demands. And now instead of 2 sexes (male and female) we now have a mishmash of confusion about sexuality. God says homosexuality is a sin and although I like some of the gay people I've known over the years, I still let them know that God is not pleased with them. They say they are Bible believers, but obviously they pick and choose what they choose to believe. There will be a reckoning soon and they are going to find out the real truth, much to their surprise. Keep on with your program. While I was at Baylor, I did get to talk to Rev Bill for a short while when he spoke at an assembly on campus and I was impressed that he spent the extra time talking to me, but mostly I remember him looking me in the eye while shaking my hand and said "God has a lot of plans for you".

We have to remember what prophecy says about the End Times, which is mainly seen in references to Sodom and Noah. In the destruction of Sodom passages God has told us that men came from all over the city to rape the angels. This says so much about how the world will be in our times. -- In the Noah references, we are told that every thought of men was evil. I can't even imagine living in a place like that. ----- I believe that is why GOD is going to allow the Antichrist to kill us. We will be gone, and evil will take over. ----- Right now, digital currency is the goal of global government, and the microchip is already in human bodies. Once digital currency is established as the only currency, it will only take ONE act of government to mandate the microchip into everyone. Are we ready for that? The pandemic has weakened every country in the world. We are on the verge of a global economic collapse, which seems to me a perfect opportunity for the Antichrist to rise to power. All the efforts people have made to provide for themselves in the future will disappear. Retirement plans, savings, insurance, and more... including ministries with annuity plans. Every time a Christian loses their resources, we all lose. How can we change this??? My view is to create places like Goshen so GOD can create miracles for us to survive as long as possible and help to protect each other. work2gather.us

My father died as a direct result of his alcoholism when I was 10. I was a black out drunk when Jesus saved me at the age of 22. For the past 46 yrs, by the grace of God, I have been empowered to live a sober life. But others drinking around me is a definite stumbling block that I avoid. I feel cheated by those who drink around me because they are offering, what I consider, something less than rhe best of themselves. And I hold a well founded concern for my offspring who may carry a genetic predisposition to alcoholism. Thank you so much for challenging us all to give this prayerful consideration.

Funny story. I married a Graham (distant) but I was so turned off when his dad would pronounce, “If you can’t be a Graham marry one; if you can’t marry one associate with one as often as you can.” He wasn’t joking! My mother-in-law even cross-stitched this gem on a pillow! Yikes! (Thank the Lord my husband isn’t like that!) I appreciate how Franklin Graham always brings the conversation to faith in Jesus Christ.

I personally do not care to drink. However, I have spent time investigating, is drinking a sin or not. It seems to only be a sin according to which denomination you belong to. To the Presbyterians it is ok to drink but to not abuse alcohol. I find that there are few alcoholics among the Presbyterians. I know many alcoholics in the SBC and charismatic church. Alcohol doesn't seem to be the real issue. It seems to be the underlying reasons as to why folks drink that is the real issue. Many folks drink to self- medicate. We treat alcohol the same as fentanyl, as if having a drink will automatically cause addiction. If people are worried about folks acting out while drinking, folks will act out whether alcohol involved or not. It is the law that provokes people to sin. I personally decided to be an example of not drinking and save my opinions. I think in time all people will realize that even one glass of wine a day is not good for their health, just like cigarettes. We should be more concerned with why people self- medicate than having a beer or a glass of wine.

Christianity isn't really Christianity. It's opinion, gossip, rumor, chaos, and babel with a bibleish tint. This is due to it being tens of thousands of differing denominations with no two exactly alike in interpretation of the bible. So it is nearer to a marketplace of counterfeiters than the authentic advancement of Gods work. It has no head or shepherd because they each have their own God, Christ, and gospel, one set for each denomination. So it is tens of thousands of different gospels, saviors and Gods. It is Hydra. Sorry but that is just a self evident truth. The LDS Church is Gods restored true Church. So is it any wonder that it isn't like the hoax parading as Christianity.

Dear Cissie, On 5/15/1957, my 14th birthday, while at the Billy Graham Crusade at the Old Madison Square Garden in NYC, after confessing my sins, I received the Permanent Endwelling of The Holy Spirit, and a Supernatural Experience of a warm, almost hot, heavy oil like Filling from my feet upward. The sermon was Isaiah 6, where I said, 'Here Am I, send me.' . From 1984-1998, I lived in a 1948 old Chevy School Bus, the Lord had me paint red and black Scripture on it, turning it into The Holy Bible Bus. From 1984-1998, He had me travel the USA and British Columbia, holding services and talking about Salvation, mostly at Rest Areas and Truck Stops. Father God has never left me. He's been ever faithful. I am now 81 and still thriving in Him. HalleluJAH! Now And Forever More! More!

Billy and Ruth would be horrified to know Franklin still supports Donald Trump, the most immoral and crooked man to ever hold the office of President. There are many conservative politicians Franklin could have supported but he chose Donald Trump and now our country is in a mess. The GOP is so far off message from conservative values. Trump alone has committed adultery on all three wives and Melania is all over the internet in lesbian porn. It’s sickening.

I appreciate you Cissie and what the LORD is doing through you and in you, and how you are submitting to Him. The world focuses on "God's love" (which really the world doesn't not understand love at all, because it doesn't understand God, who is love and therefore the only source of love), but the clearest evidence of rejecting the TRUE God and not understanding the true meaning of love, is the refusal to be OBEDIENT. Same story from the very beginning... I don't like to be obedient, therefore I reject you God, and will shape you into my own image, whereby I can set whatever standards I please.

Q 22 How old is the reformation? Who was the prophet who gave the revelation that the Catholics were not Christian and that the Protestants were now in authority? Didn't God say he would only give such revelation to a prophet? So if the Catholics are not Christians, how would they be able to know who and what God is? Seems like they haven't really got any foundation of authority or truth to stand on.

I live in Southern California. Went to Billy's Los Angeles Crusade 20 years ago. I went the 2nd night, Rose Bowl. Filled to capacity. Rev. Graham, in his 80's using I remember, a walker, stood at pupit, said 2 sentences, then sat down. Why should I be disappointed, the fact that I got to attend ONE Billy Graham crusade was a treasure for me. Other podium guests spoke. I visited the beautiful Billy Graham Museum in Charlotte. God gives me very colorful night time dreams, and I had such a beautiful dream that night about my Museum visit. The volunteers were so nice. I've been sending shoeboxes for 25 years; I estimate I've sent about 90. Love doing this project every year. I'm the only Christian in my family, unfortunately.

Often comes from a Christianity worshiping families mostly carry Christianity spirit for long time or forever. It depends on how close their hearts and influence toward Christianity spirit. As Christianity pastors, or Church service leaders, mostly their family members will be influenced by Christianity spirit much more than normal Christians. Especially as Pastor Billy Graham’s families. If Pastor Billy Graham has preached for life time long as one of the greatest Christianity spirit preachers, since many Christians have been benefited through his preachings. Certainly his sons easily learned and can be great preachers too. Surely in the whole world, many either Christians or not have been benefited from their Christianity services or even none believers may turn into Christianity’s quickly for being nicer persons or being moral, or carrying more loving kindness nature to others. I believe that was the main reasons for Founding Father’s decisions must ensure America’s freedoms of religion which has spread more and more loving kindness nature naturally. In America’s freedoms focused societies, Christianity spirit is very important. America 🇺🇸 is not an iron fist country to force Americans for what, what or what, but as a civilized nation America’s greatness accompanies with Christianity spirit of loving kindness nature naturally. Without Churches, Christianity preacers’ services and efforts, less or much less loving kindness nature, moral standards, efforts for being more principled, nicer, courteous with manners to all others, naturally believe looting, robberies and murdering are very harmful to peaceful societies, discriminations toward either White Americans, or Black Americans, or Spanish Speaking Americans, or Asian Americans, or any other Americans are not loving kindness according to Christianity spirit standards. This is why America’s Founding Fathers must ensure freedoms and equality of opportunities to American citizens of all. Their services for Christianity spirit have brought America’s loving kindness day by day, year by year. America 🇺🇸 has been a very kind and generous country for loving kindness nature. Without Christianity service efforts, America won’t be as so kind and generous to all. However, America’s kindness and generosity nature doesn’t mean we must being lazy or lose hardworking traditions to build our country America’s greatness and taking care of our own life by responsibilities as responsible citizens together. One drop of water, small power, but massive drops of water together will bring tremendous power of impacts of America’s greatness, strength together, because only America’s greatness and strength will help Americans to live better, happier and safer altogether.

Just to let you know we do believe we are saved, only through the Grace of Jesus. We also believe we are changed by him. That change in us is how we become like him. As we keep his commandments we become more like him until he makes us Joint Heirs with him. A concept you do not understand. This is his blessing upon us to bring us into the presence of the Father.

Q 20 I guess you believes that Jesus will force man to heaven? “under Christianity Jesus doesn't give you a ladder he drops down on a rope and while you're kicking and screaming he pulls you up anyway that is the grace that's offered under Christianity” That’s what satan would do. Jesus knocks at the door, we turn the handle and let him in. Jesus will force no man to heaven, we accept his free gift. Force is not a gift.
